We tend to prefer small family run country houses full of local atmosphere and colour located in the countryside. However Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto offer larger hotels and the experience of a small Italian town. All accommodation is equipped with complimentary internet, telephone, air conditioning and on-suite bathrooms with a shower or bath.

In the afternoon we will head off to the second vineyard a few kilometers from the first. Here you will be able to note the difference in taste of the two Proseccos all due to different micro-climate, production processes and location. During the day we will be driving in the Prosecco DOCG area which is full of picturesque villages and farms, we are more than happy to stop the car and go for a walk and to show you where the best photos can be taken! We normally have our cameras with us and with your consent will be happy to take photos during the day for you. To round off the day in the evening we will take you to a local restaurant where we will have dinner together or alternatively we can organize a taxi and book a table for you if you feel like relaxing from the tour by yourselves.Day 3 -  Let’s go to Venice!!!After a relaxing breakfast in your hotel, we'll drive to Conegliano where we will catch the train to Venice. The trip takes approximately 50 minutes and we arrive directly in Venice - yes, the train crosses the water to Venice! Rather than the normal head for St Mark’s square tour we will take you to St Mark’s square along the back streets visiting “bacaretti” along the way. Bacaretti are small, sometimes extremely small bars serving typical Venetian “cicchetti” - small open breads with 100’s of different toppings for example Sarde in Saor, Baccalà mantecato… Venice is a city to walk around however for longer sections of the tour or if you prefer we can take a water-bus called a vaporetto - or maybe we will take one just for the fun of it! We will arrive back at Conegliano towards late afternoon and we will drive you to your hotel for some well-earned relaxation!

 

Day 1 - The weekend starts with us picking you up at either Treviso or Venice airport, around 40km from Prosecco Land, after a quick chat and maybe a coffee we will drive you to your hotel or country house. Your accommodation has been selected by us to meet your requirements. We tend to prefer small family run country houses full of local atmosphere and colour located in the countryside. However Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto offer larger hotels and the experience of a small Italian town. All accommodation is equipped with complimentary internet, telephone, air conditioning and on-suite bathrooms with a shower or bath.  After checking in to your accommodation you are free to take a stroll in the hills, relax and explore the area and why not? - taste some local Prosecco immersed in Prosecco Land !In the evening we have arranged a surprise dinner where we serve you a traditional Italian meal with local wine in a family environment.

 

Day 2 - We will spend visiting vineyards in the Prosecco DOCG area approximately 20-30 min from your accommodation. After a leisurely breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up and take you to the first vineyard where we will be met by the owner and his staff. The introduction to Prosecco will start with a tour of the vines and then a tour around the “cantina” all accompanied by an explanation of how Prosecco is made - questions are more than welcome! The vineyard tour finishes with a traditional Prosecco tasting session - we will taste 5 different Proseccos and these will be accompanied by some bread, cheese, salami and other local products depending on the season. The vineyards we have selected are family run and the tasting session will be presented by one of the staff or in many cases a family member who is actively engaged in the production. Most presentations will be in English however we will be on hand to translate if needed. After the vineyard tour we will head to a village on the hills for a walk and a typical lunch in a local tavern. The menu will vary based on the season.

Day 4 - It is the departure day and depending on your flight times on request we can also organize shopping trips, buying some Prosecco to take back, maybe Italian shopping or anything else you would like. After which we will drive you back to the airport in time to catch your flight home!
